DTS Conducts Steam Generator Training to Expand Employees’ Technical Knowledge
To help employees further develop their technical knowledge of thermal systems, DTS invited a specialist in steam generator technology to deliver a dedicated training session. The training covered working principles, system components, operating procedures, and key safety considerations.
In food processing and thermal sterilization, steam generators are important heat source equipment. They can provide steam for steam retorts, supporting the thermal processing of various food products. Steam pressure, temperature, and supply stability are closely related to retort temperature control and the overall heat treatment process.
During the session, the specialist explained practical aspects of steam generator operation, steam distribution, pressure control, and safety management. The discussion also covered the application of steam supply systems in retort sterilizers, helping employees better understand the relationship between steam generation and food sterilization equipment.
For products such as canned foods, retort pouches, wet pet food, ready-to-eat meals, meat products, and seafood, thermal processing parameters must be selected according to product characteristics and packaging formats. Appropriate control of temperature, pressure, and processing time is essential, while a stable steam supply provides an important foundation for reliable retort operation.
Through this training, DTS continues to strengthen employees’ technical understanding of thermal processing systems and their practical applications in food sterilization.
